The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2008 have recently announced their winners for 2008.
Judith Cullen, Dunedin cooking writer and foodie is the winner of the NZ section of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards for The Best Culinary Travel Guide.
Judith Cullen is the author of two cookbooks Dinner in a Basket – Judith Cullen Cooks from the Market and Judith Cullen’s Cooking Classes. Her delicious recipes, perfect for entertaining or for the family to enjoy, use fresh, often homegrown, seasonal food. They have found their way onto the tables of the hundreds of people who have attended her popular cooking classes which she has run for more than ten years.
Judith, along with other shortlisted contenders from around the world, has been invited to attend the glittering awards ceremony in Paris on 1st July.
