MAXIMUM RIDE - NEWS FROM RANDOM HOUSE UKFinally, we have news that the long mooted film adaptation of James Patterson’s Maximum Ride will be going ahead. What makes this news particularly exciting is the confirmation that the movie will be directed by Catherine Hardwicke, who recently brought Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight to the silver screen.

No firm details on the cast or when the film’s set to go into production, but its credentials are certainly boosted by the news that Don Payne – who adapted the screenplays for the Fantastic Four films, as well as being a producer on The Simpsons – will adapt Maximum Ride.
