SINGER-SONGWRITER MISSY HIGGINS & NOVELIST HARLAN COBEN ON THE ROAD FOR A SERIES OF SPECIAL APPEARANCES TOGETHER ACROSS THE U.S. THIS APRIL

Australian singer-songwriter Missy Higgins (pic right) and the No. 1 New York Times best-selling author Harlan Coben (pic left) will reunite for a string of very special in-store appearances beginning on Friday, April 3 at the Lark Theater.
After the enormous success of the pair’s first in-store together at Borders Book Store in New York City late last year, Missy and Harlan have decided to team up again.
Miss
y Higgins will perform songs from her current album On A Clear Night, followed by Coben’s reading from his brand-new novel Long Lost. An album and book signing, along with a Q&A will wrap up each appearance.
Coben became a fan of Higgins after a friend forwarded him a copy of “Where I Stood,” Higgins’ current single off her second release On A Clear Night. He then wrote about listening to the heartbreaking song in his recent No. 1 New York Times bestseller Hold Tight. “The song became something of a backdrop while I was writing the book,” Coben says. “I was mesmerized. I loved every second.”

Long Lost by Harlan Coben will be released in New Zealand on April 9, 2009
