Supported by Creative Hastings and Te Mata Estate Winery
20, 21, 22 March 2009
Leading New Zealand and Australian writers will be on stage at a variety of venues and events in the Hastings Festival of Writers from March 20 – 22, 2009.
The festival provides an opportunity to join novelists, poets, historians and biographers for readings, discussions and conversation.
Building links with the writing fraternity in Australia is a key goal of the festival and we are delighted to be joined in 2009 by two writers from across the Tasman - award winning novelist Roger McDonald and New Zealand born writer Martin Edmond, a regular finalist in the Montana Book Awards.
Sarah Quigley, currently living in Germany, also features in the festival line-up.
The event includes other outstanding New Zealand writers from around the country.
