One of the very early book reviews I did on this blog back in November last year, and perhaps the longest post to date, was of this very fine book and so I was thrilled to see that it had been shortlisted for a number of awards:

This is a truly spectacular piece of scholarship and design and it will not surprise me if it wins all of the awards for which it is shortlisted.
