THE NEW YORKER, JUNE 4 ISSUE

In this issue which landed in my post office box today there is a marvellous article by David Remnick (a wonderful writer) on The Sopranos which screened its final epsiode in the US on Monday night..

If you are a fan of this TV series this is a must read, but even if you are not it is still worth a read. Reminick can really write. He is of course the editor of The New Yorker.

A generous friend of mine has just given me REPORTING by David Remnick (Vintage) which is a collection of his writings from The New Yorker and which I can't wait to read.
