An hour with Hugh Howey author of WOOL.

When: Monday 22 April, 6pm light refreshments served, 6.30pm author talk
Where: Takapuna Library
Cost: $5 or $2 for Friends of the Library

Hugh Howey's first novel Wool started life online and became a self-publishing sensation by word of mouth. The book is now being touted as the sci-fi equivalent of 50 Shades of Grey (his best seller success not his subject matter!)

Shift, which is the prequel to Wool, is being published in April. Hugh will speak about how he came to write this epic tale about the survival of humanity's remnants dwelling in claustrophobic underground silos.

The Friends of Takapuna Library, Random House and Paper Plus invite you to take this opportunity to meet Hugh during his two-day visit to New Zealand.

Copies of both books will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of Paper Plus.
