the Man Group's sponsorship. Spokesperson Harrison Kelly says "Since
October we have been contacted by several Asian-based and global corporations
about sponsoring the prize. In fact we are currently in encouraging talks with
potential partners."

the candidates; Farooqi's is the one not published yet in a US edition.

I'm just starting my 3rd from the shortlist, Silent House by Orhan Pamuk. Thoroughly enjoyed the Eng and Thayil books. Also liked Ru by Kim Thuy from the longlist. Hope to find the remaining two before March announcement, no sign of them around here yet. (I'm in Canada) Happy reading in 2013.
