Meet the authors evening
with Eleanor Catton and Emily Perkins
 Thursday 22 November 2012,
7.30 to 9.15pm at Devonport Library


Eavesdrop on a conversation between Eleanor Catton
and Emily Perkins, as they discuss their new work
and the highs and lows of the writer’s craft.

These two superb story-tellers have achieved acclaim
both in New Zealand and internationally.

Eleanor’s first novel The Rehearsal, won her a long-listing for the 2010 Orange Prize. She is the current Michael King/University of Auckland writer in residence.
Emily’s many achievements include the 2009 Montana NZ Book Award for her novel Novel About My Wife. Bloomsbury published her latest book The Forrests.
7.30pm drinks and nibbles, 8pm meet the authors.
