HarperCollins has launched a new website for crime fans, offering them exclusive content and news.
Killerreads.com officially launched yesterday (6th October) with an extract of Jillianne Hoffman's new novel, Pretty Little Things, which isn't published until February 2010.
It also features extracts from Jack Higgins' Sean Dillon series of novels and a feature on crime writer Ngaio Marsh.
The site will include regular blogs, some from HarperCollins authors, on crime related topics. Crime fans will also be sent a newsletter with the latest crime book news.

The site was launched in trial form in June, with advertising on digital television channel Living. It featured author blogs and Q&As from the likes of Greg Iles, Faye Kellerman and Scott Mariani.
Publishing brand manager Kate Bradley said: "Crime fans simply love talking and sharing their passion for the genre. KillerReads is a great digital space for this to happen and our authors are really looking forward to getting closer to their fans.
"The site is going to be really dynamic and the content will be updated and refreshed constantly. We are passionate about our crime authors and we want to share that passion with the online community."
