Agatha Christie is set to break a third record
for the book with the thickest spine in the world

On Wednesday 20th May, the book with the thickest spine in the world – the Collected Miss Marple by Agatha Christie - will be launched and judged by Guinness World Records ™. The limited edition book has a staggering 4,032 pages, a spine over a foot thick and weighs more than 8Kg. They retail at £1,000 each.
Agatha Christie’s grandson Mathew Prichard will be present, as well as bestselling author Kate Mosse - who has written an introduction to the book and is a lifelong Christie fan - an Agatha Christie ‘expert’ and the publisher, HarperCollins.
Agatha Christie already holds two world records – for the longest running play, The Mousetrap – and as the best-selling novelist of all time.
