1.On the question of new media etc here is a quote from Paul Reynolds of McGovern & Associates which he said yesterday in response to my comment on how busy he was and how much time he had to spend away from home:

Creating the future is a bloody time consuming job.

2.The days of conferences and festivals being held without high speed wi-fi internet connections must surely be over. Traipsing around town looking for wireless connection in order to report on this Fesival has been a right pain and I hope that by the time the next NZ Post Writers & Readers Week comes around in 2010 that the organisers will be up to speed on this question.
