NEW ZEALAND BOOKSELLER ATTEMPTS TO RECRUIT TO AUTHOR

The endlessly energetic and fun-loving Tilly Lloyd of Unity Books in Wellington had dinner with top British author, David Mitchell,(and darling of the NZ Post Writers & Readers Week), and when she found out he had worked as a bookseller at Waterstones she immediately inetrviewed him and offered him a key post at her wonderful Willis Street store.

Word has it he was flattered but politely turned down the offer.
