An explosive tell-all book being written by Jerry Hall about her life with womanising Mick Jagger has been abandoned in mysterious circumstances.
The book, which Miss Hall has spent two years writing, will remain forever in manuscript form after she had an unexplained change of heart and reneged on a £1million deal with HarperCollins.
The publisher is said to have become frustrated that, despite promises that the book would be overflowing with juicy detail about the Rolling Stones singer's dalliances, 52-year-old Miss Hall provided only a very sanitised account.

She was ordered to rewrite the 304-page memoir ready for a September launch but refused to reveal the very intimate facts that the publisher demanded of her.
The model is said to be angry that she has been ordered to give back the £500,000 publishers' advance.
Last night Jagger's spokesman denied that the singer had anything to do with the deal collapsing. He also denied that Jagger - who is worth £190million - offered to help Miss Hall financially if she abandoned the project.
However Miss Hall, who maintains a colossal mansion house on the top of Richmond Hill in South-West London, is known to have written the book to help her out of financial hardship.
In Jerry Hall: Self-Portrait, HarperCollins expected that she would lift the lid on 'intimate times', 'wild parties' and 'exactly what she had to put up with in her relationships'.
It also hoped to hear details about Jagger's 'sex addiction' - he slept with an estimated 4,000 women during his 24-year relationship with Miss Hall.
The book was also expected to detail how Jagger managed to avoid giving her a divorce settlement by arguing they were not legally married.
