STORYLINES - NEW ZEALAND'S LEADING ADVOCATE FOR CHILDREN'S LITERATURE

Storylines is a great organisation that everyone with an interest in the world of children's books should belong to.

Check out their wonderful website and join today if you are not already a member. The latest Storylines publications (which all members get as part of their membership) arrived in my mail box this week and reading them gave me such pleaure.

Included were the May newsletter, 12 pages providing alll the exciting news to do with children's books, including a terrific report on Margaret Mahy Day which was held in Christchurch on 28 March, the latest booklist, eightpages of book reviews, and the annual 80 page Year Book filled with stuff about the various NZ book awards, International Book Day and the 31st IBBY World Congress.

Pic above left shows Penny Scown and Diana Murray from Scholastic, along with June Peka, Anna Gowan and Libby Limbrick while pic right show Margaret Mahy, Andrew Crowe and Libby Limbrick. Both photos taken at the Margaret Mahy Day.
