Princeton Say Kindle Pilot Focuses on Reducing Printing, Rther than Replacing Textbooks
About the pilot from the Princeton Website:
Princeton is using the Amazon DX electronic reader to pilot the use of an e-reader in a small number of classes during the Fall term of 2009.
A major aim of the pilot is to help determine if e-readers can cut down on the use of paper at Princeton, without adversely affecting the classroom experience.
To learn more about the pilot, explore the links listed in the left-hand pane of their web page. You may also contact Janet Temos, Director of the Educational Technologies Center (firstname.lastname@example.org), or Serge Goldstein, Associate CIO (email@example.com), if you need additional information.
