BEAUTIFUL BOOKS FROM GHECKO PRESS

“Curiously good books from around the world.”

Gecko Press is a small impressive one person publishing outfit based in Wellington, NZ.
Julia Marshall set up Gecko Press in 2005 to be a children’s publisher specializing in acquiring English language rights in beautiful children’s books published in other languages by well-established authors.
They are then translated into English and published here in New Zealand.

Here are six Gecko Press titles all published recently, every one of them a gem.

MAX’S BATH

Translated from Swedish these are perfect first books for toddlers and fun to read aloud. Charming little books featuring Max, an independent character who is full of energy and ideas.
