THAT NEW YORKER COVER

In the mail today was my copy of The New Yorker, July 21, 2008 which carries the cover that has caused widespread controversy and in some cases absolute outrage.

By and large New Yorkers themselves seem quite relaxed about it, I guess they are used to the often satirical nature of their beloved magazine's covers.

Time magazine carried a whole page in the July 28 issue under the byline - The flap over the New Yorker;s Obama cover shows why our body politic needs to lighten up.
