The NYT review states that there has not been a religious war in Europe since 1648?!!!
I guess that Tim Blanning never heard of WW2 and such things as the Holocaust of the Jewish peoples and of the Serbian peoples?
Or that he never heard of Jesuit "Father" Wlodimir Ledochowski?
