CREATING THE WORLD OF THE MAGIC FLUTE

Mozart's The Magic Flute is one of the most popular operas in the world, but Komische Oper Berlin's magical production is like none you will have ever seen before.
Alongside the stunning vocal talents of the Berlin opera house chorus and soloists is glorious animation created by innovative British theatre group 1927.

SCULPTURAL INSPIRATION FOR DANCE

Ross McCormack and Muscle Mouth's powerful new work As It Stands takes inspiration from monumental creations including those of iconic American sculptor Richard Serra.
The dancers and crew visited Gibbs Farm to come face to face with Serra's awe-inspiring sculptural work Te Tuhirangi Contour.
Commissioned by Auckland Arts Festival, As It Stands has its world premiere in 8-10 March at ASB Waterfront Theatre.
