In 1969, the modern fight for LGBTQ
rights in the United States was jumpstarted by the Stonewall Riots. One
year later, the first Gay Pride March was held to commemorate the riots,

characters and by LGBTQ individuals that showcase how far we’ve come
since the raids and riots of the ’60s and the struggles and experiences
of the LGBTQ community today.
