M Literary Residency is in exotic locations

The M Literary Residency Programme for 2015-16 offers time and space in to write near Bangalore and Shanghai.
 
The residency is funded by Shanghai’s M Restaurant Group and grew from their Literary Festivals, as they heard from writers what was needed to nurture and produce the best writing in this region. They discovered that often it is simply the time and space to write.

Writers can apply for one of the two M Literary Residencies:
 
Bangalore, India: A 10 week residency at Sangam House, in a rural setting near Bangalore from late 2016 to early 2017.
 
Shanghai, China: 8-10 week residency in Shanghai. The residency must be taken up before 31 December 2016, and be completed in one continuous period.
 
The Residency is open to writers of prose, poetry, fiction or nonfiction. All submissions are due 12 June 2015 and must be in English or include an English translation.
