Lit Fest in London Builds Buzz for Aussie and Kiwi Authors


The inaugural Australia & New Zealand Festival of Literature & Arts brought 130 authors and performers to London, showcasing the two nations' talents.

Two data analytics companies, Next Big Book and Qlovi, won startup prizes at BEA, but several others caught our eye and are worth watching through 2014.

Korean publisher JR Comics debuted its popular graphic novel series based on classic Chinese adventure stories at BookExpo America last week.

Barbara Griffini, a translator and literary agent representing Italian authors, provides a snapshot of her working life selling rights in Europe and the US.
