The above three authors, Boyd, Faulks & Deaver are the three contemporary authors of new James Bond novels authorised by the Estate of Ian Fleming, Bond's creator back in the 1960's.

The Kill List by Frederick Forsyth  (Bantam Press) - the inventor of the modern thriller

Saints of the Shadow Bible by Ian Rankin (Hachette) - note publication not until 7 November.

I Am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes (Bantam Press) - a truly remarkable contemporary international thriller.
