KM's birthday
Roger Robinson writes from New York:
Today
(Monday 14th) is Katherine Mansfield's 125th birthday.
At 8am on
her 100th birthday in 1988 there was a 21 gun salute over Wellington Harbour. I
was impressed. Later I found it was in honour of a visiting Australian
warship.
