The author
Juliette MacIver majored in Linguistics at Victoria University, Wellington, and has a
diploma in teaching English. She is a mother of four, and lives in Wellington, New Zealand.
She is the author of Marmaduke Duck and the Marmalade Jam (published by Scholastic).
The illustrator
New Zealand-born Sarah Davis is an award-winning illustrator currently based in Sydney,
Australia. Her awards include the CBCA Crichton Award for illustration, and she was
shortlisted for the LIANZA Russell Clark Medal for illustration for her work on the Gecko Press
book, The Fierce Little Woman and the Wicked Pirate by Joy Cowley.
