As you will no doubt be aware, there have recently been a series of new aftershocks in Christchurch, which have further affected buildings in the CBD.
The severity of these aftershocks has meant that the council has deemed our store to be unsafe, and a red sticker has been placed on the door. We have been informed by our building engineer that we are safe, and he is negotiating with the council to get us reopened.
We're going day by day, and are waiting for the sticker to be removed, but until this is done we are not able to open the doors.
We would appreciate it if Publishers could please hold freight until further notice.

11.15 AM STOP PRESS - NEW MESSAGE FROM MARY
The red sticker got removed about 15 minutes ago, so we are back in business and eager to see freight and more particularly, customers.
