TRAINING FUND ANNOUNCEMENT

PANZ is delighted to announce the establishment of a Training Fund to which all members will be eligible to apply. With generous support and sponsorship from CLL, relevant training courses both at home and abroad, will now be accessible to successful applicants.

This is a significant development within the organisation and one which PANZ Council hopes will be recognised as major benefit for the organisation's membership.

Full details will shortly be available on the PANZ website, including an application form for download. There will be two rounds of applications annually - the first of which will close on Friday, 4th March.

Great for PANZ members, but when will training grants be available for freelancers? We support the publishing industry and publishers rely on us up-skilling ourselves.

I have just published a children's book
Orca, the Stranded Whale written by Alex Gordon from Waipu when he was 7. This is the first book I have published since completing the Diploma in Publishing. The book is selling well but a course like this would help. I pressume I have to be a member of PANZ to apply to attend.
