The Usborne Young Writers' Award 2009

To celebrate five fabulous years of Usborne Fabulous Fiction, we're offering young writers the chance to write a story with a real author.
Five authors have started stories - and now they want help finishing them! The winners will receive a trip to Usborne House in London to meet all five authors, plus lots of other great prizes.
The competition is open to UK children up to and including the age of 14 on 23rd October 2009, the closing date of the award.

To enter, choose one of the story starters shown on our website, then complete the story in no more than 1000 words (excluding the story starter).
