DOGS OF AUCKLAND
AT THE AUCKLAND FESTIVAL

Modern classical and improvised electronic music are at the heart of this experimental cross-media show, devised by Jonathan Besser (piano), and featuring Andrew Pask (clarinets and programming) and John Bell (vibraphone). Based in part on the poem The Dogs of Auckland by American poet Robert Creeley, it features stunning projected visual by Billy Apple, John Reynolds, Max Gimblett, Len Lye and Besser's experimental film Shadow Walk, with John Parker's design adding a theatrical feel.

With the support of Gow Langsford Gallery, Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett, Max Gimblett and Jetta Trust.
