The 30th Annual Conference on Book Trade History
Advertising and promotion have always underpinned the business of bookselling. The process of marketing is pervasive and inescapable, yet it is often difficult for the historian to reconstruct.
Over this two-day conference, the speakers will explore a wide variety of practices ranging from the earliest book advertisements in the fifteenth century to selling books online in the twenty-first.
