Launches

Macmillan has launched Reading Without Walls, a month-long, nationwide program to promote diversity in reading. Inspired by National Ambassador for Young People's Literature Gene Luen Yang, the program challenges readers to pick up books with unfamiliar characters, subjects, and genres.

Acquisitions
Following a
letter of intent signed in February, Ingram Content Group's VitalSource has acquired Verba Software, a San Francisco-based company that uses technology to support campus stores and help students save money on course materials.
