Amazon will open a bricks and mortar bookshop in Seattle this morning selling books at the same price as its website Amazon.com.
JK Rowling has revealed she is writing another children's book which she "really loves".

German publisher Bastei Lübbe has revealed it is to launch an e-book subscription service targeting the mobile market called oolipo.
The subscription service will first soft-launch in the UK, USA, Germany, Austria and Switzerland in April 2016 with the aim of launching in July 2016 in two languages – English and German.
It will offer new, exclusive and series short stories and other short works only for a flat rate, aimed at the mobile and tablet reading market.
Children's Book Award 2016
Books by Michael Morpugo, Francesca Simon and Tony Ross have been shortlisted for this year's Children's Book Awards.
The awards are divided into three categories: books for younger children, books for younger readers and books for older readers.
Luke Bitmead
Nine authors have been shortlisted for this year's Luke Bitmead Bursary, the prize for unpublished authors set up in memory of Legend Press’ first novelist who died aged 35.
