Hot fiction, travel and cookbooks on publishers' plates this year
Fiction-lovers can look forward to a bumper year from kiwis and international writers: highlights include book four in Stieg Larsson’s Millennium series (!!) from Hachette, Kate Atkinson’s new title A God in Ruins and a new book by Patricia Grace from Penguin Random House, as well as the final book in the James Cook trilogy by Graeme Lay from HarperCollins NZ. Meanwhile, Lonely Planet is reinventing the guidebook with a series called Make My Day, there are reissues of Edmonds titles and Digby Law books from Hachette, and Exisle is happy to present the first of four books in their First World War Centenary History.
Here are the details of the top picks for 2015 from Hachette NZ, Penguin Random House NZ, HarperCollins NZ, Exisle Publishing and Lonely Planet.
