FAIRLY ODD CHILDREN'S BOOKS

Geoff Churchman from TransPress found this on a German website called hornoxe.com dedicated to oddball things.

Geoff tells me that The Miss Pickerell series was published in the 1950s in New York, this one in 1953 - probably an even more intriguing title is the previous one "Miss Pickerell goes to Mars" from 1951! Ellen MacGregor died in 1954 but more of her stories were published after her death using illustrators Paul Galdone and Charles Geer.
