Bookstart’s Christmas wish for a book in every stocking

Bookstart, the national programme that gives free books to babies, has embarked on a Christmas campaign in support of independent bookshops.
Their ‘Book in Every Stocking’ campaign provides posters, stickers and bookmarks which have been specially designed by the illustrator Annabel Hudson, best known for her bestselling Witch Wendy series.
The materials will be sent to over 1,000 independent bookshops on Monday 10 November.
