Philippa Werry is currently in the Wairarapa working on a project
for the Anzac Bridge Fellowship 2016, based around the historic Kaiparoro war
memorial bridge.
The fellowship is organised by the NZ Pacific Studio artists'
residency centre and Friends of the ANZAC Memorial Bridge Kaiparoro and helped
by a community grant from Trust House Community Enterprise, Masterton.
Her project relates to tracing the similarities and
differences between the Kaiparoro bridge and the Bridge Creek memorial bridge
at Brooweena, Queensland, and trying to build up some connections between the
two bridge communities.
