Nuclear War (Viking) while the Mark
Lynton History Prize was given to Nikolaus Wachsmann's
KL: A History of the Nazi Concentration Camps (FSG). Finally, the J. Anthony
Lukas Work-in-Progress award was given to Steve Luxenberg's SEPARATE: A Story of
Race, Ambition and the Battle That Brought Legal Segregation to America (W.W.
Norton)
