Northland Story Tours – FREE for schools
Each
year as part of the Storylines Festival, the Story Tour brings New Zealand
writers and illustrators into schools and early childhood centres.
Applications are now open for the Storylines Story Tour to visit your
school. This is FREE to schools but places and days are limited. There are
three (3) Story Tours to choose from: Auckland, Northland and South
Auckland.More information, including how to apply now, is available on our website.

Storylines for 2015
Storylines 2015
Margaret Mahy Day and AGM has a new name and programme!Before Christmas last year, we told you about some exciting changes that are happening in 2015. Changes have been made and our Margaret Mahy Day and AGM has now changed and boasts a new name.
International Children’s Book Day and Storylines Awards Presentation, as it will now be known, will no longer host the Storylines Margaret Mahy Medal Award Lecture. This will now be held during the Storylines Festival 22 – 30 August.
The International Children’s Book Day and Storylines Awards Presentation will be held on Sunday 29 March at the National Library, Stanley Street, Auckland. This is now a FREE event, koha to contribute to costs would be appreciated.
The awards that will be presented at the conclusion of the Storylines Foundation AGM include:
§ Storylines
Tom Fitzgibbon Award for a Junior Fiction manuscript.
§ Storylines
Joy Cowley Award for a Picture Book manuscript.
§ Storylines
Tessa Duder Award for a Young Adult manuscript.
§ Launch
of Storylines Tom Fitzgibbon Award 2014.
§ Storylines
Gaelyn Gordon Award for a Much-Loved Book.
§ 2015
Storylines Notable Book Awards (for books published in 2014).
