Publishers Lunch
Nathan Filer's Costa Award-winning debut
novel, published in the UK as THE SHOCK AND THE FALL but in the US as WHERE THE MOON ISN'T, will be republished under the
UK title this week in digital format and later this fall in paperback.
St.
Martin's Paperbacks and Griffin publisher Jennifer Enderlin told
the NYT the title change was necessary "because otherwise there’s a
lot of confusion" and plans to send out advance copies of the paperback in
the hopes of getting reviewed (which the hardcover edition, published last
November, hardly did): "We're going to give it a whole new push, as if
it's a first-time publication again. We want it to get the attention that it
deserves."
