Please join us for a publication party to celebrate the release of  Edmund White's latest book, a memoir of his years living in Paris.  Refreshments will be served.

In 1983, in the midst of the AIDS crisis, Edmund White leaves New York City for Paris, where he spends the next fifteen years immersing himself in the French culture and battling the French language. White's memoir is rich with his keen observations of French - and American - culture and frank, funny reminiscences of the friends and acquaintances he made during his time in The City of Light.

            mysteries. This pearl is somehow a kind of snow globe as well, a transparent sphere
