Five Puffin titles on IBW Book Awards shortlists

Andrew Miller's Costa-winning Pure (Sceptre) and five Puffin titles have been shortlisted for the Independent Booksellers' Week Book Awards 2012.
Shortlists of 10 adult titles and 12 children's titles have been chosen by a panel of independent booksellers. The winners will be voted for by the public, with voting open from the beginning of IBW (30th June) until the end of August.
The adult picks include Vintage titles Julian Barnes' The Sense of an Ending and Jeanette Winterson's Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal?
The Fear by Charlie Higson and Meg Rosoff's There is No Dog are among the five Puffin titles.
Shortlisted titles will be promoted in-store dung IBW 2012, including posters and in an A5 booklet.
Edmund de Waal's The Hare with Amber Eyes won the adult category last year, with Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl and the Atlantis Complex taking the children's prize.
