Tuesday Poem

Tuesday Poem this week has a poem by Dinah Hawken at the hub. Called 'A week of it', it is from her forthcoming book The leaf-ride and has been chosen by this week's editor Helen Heath.
As Helen says, 'Dinah has such a light touch yet her poems are substantial', and 'A week of it' is exactly that. It begins:

It is dark.
Light
and dark again.
It is so.
It is something.
It is really something....

After reading Dinah's poem, enter the blogroll in the Tuesday Poem sidebar to find a host of poems including the rollicking 'Men Briefly Explained' by Tim Jones, and haiku by Japanese poets in tribute to the suffering on those islands, and more...
Tuesday Poem 'it is really something.'
