PubCamp - An Official SXSW Conference & Party!
PubCamp@SXSW is a free event hosted by Kirkus Media, happening on Friday, March 11 in Austin, Texas at Caffe Medici - a time for listening, talking and doing - examining the intersection between readers, writers, and technology.
We're inviting authors, typographers, cover designers, printers, technologists, retailers, literary agents, publishers, readers and geeks to join Guy Kawasaki, Rick Levine, Scott Dadich and Blogging Queen Sarah Wendell to consider if and how technology can transform and perhaps improve on what Johannes Gutenberg created more than 600 years ago.
Rick Levine, Senior Vice President, Editorial Operations and Scott Dadich, Executive Director, Digital Magazine Development at Conde Nast will be giving a keynote speech at PubCamp as guests of Kirkus Media. The subject of their presentation will be a look at the growing digital publishing industry and Condé Nast's current initiative to bring all of its 18 award winning brands to tablets and other mobile devices.
