About the Author and Illustrator
Kerehi Waiariki (Dick) Grace, Ngāti Porou
Kerehi is a Māori culture expert with a background in education. He is the author of several children’s books and is a keen line fisherman. He is also the author, along with wife Patricia Grace, of Earth, Sea, Sky.

Brian Gunson Ngāti Toa, Ngāti Raukawa & Te Āti Awa
Brian as been illustrating for over 30 years. Also a musician, Brian’s illustrations have won several book awards.
