Further to the report I ran on the blog yesterday:
Cape confirms Niffenegger deal

Audrey Niffenegger's new novel Her Fearful Symmetry will be published as a Cape hardback on 1st October, priced £17.99.
Cape publisher Dan Franklin said the 350-page novel, set mostly in London, was a "completely magical" tale for which the publisher has "unlimited" expectations, and that Niffenegger will come to the UK to promote.
The book has sold to Nan Graham at Scribner in the US for close to $5m, it was announced yesterday. Franklin bought UK and commonwealth rights on a partial manuscript two years ago, and has edited the book in conjunction with Niffenegger's agent Joe Regal. He declined to reveal the sum paid, but said "lots and lots".
The story involves two 20-year-old American twin sisters who inherit a flat next to Highgate Cemetery and find it is haunted by the ghost of the aunt who left it to them.
Franklin said: "It's got everything, it's a fantastic literary novel and unbelievably commercial, and is being given a photographic jacket by the man who did the image for Atonement."
The Time Traveler's Wife, first published in 2003, has sold over 1m copies in the UK, according to Nielsen BookScan.
