THE 10PM QUESTION
Kate De Goldi’s endearing and beautifully written novel, The 10 Pm Question, has been appearing on the Bestseller List since being released in late September: nine weeks in total. The publisher, Longacre Press, quickly ran out of stock and recently organized a reprint, which will be available from their distributor, Random House, as of the 8th of December.
The Australian rights for the book have been purchased by Allen & Unwin who are releasing their edition in February ’09. Allen & Unwin Publisher, Erica Wagner said, ‘My colleagues in sales, marketing and publicity are as excited as we are editorially. Everyone is savouring the novel, appreciating Kate's fine writing and sure touch and the beautifully realised characters (we have all fallen in love with Frankie!). They love the cover illustration and design too, ( I am not surprised at all about that, it is a stunner!), and are using the same Sarah Maxey design as the New Zealand edition. There has also been interest in the title expressed from three UK Publishers.
