Penguin today announced acquisition of publishing rights of a brand new CBeebies television series, Go Jetters, due to air in AW 2015. Juliet Matthews, Publishing Director at Penguin Children's, has agreed terms with BBC Worldwide for world book rights, in all languages.
Penguin has an ongoing joint venture with BBC Worldwide, and the acquisition of Go Jetters is the latest in a series of highly successful brand partnerships between the two companies. Penguin will launch the Go Jetters publishing range in 2016 under the Ladybird imprint, with a range of formats tailored to suit the brand themes of exploration, adventure and teamwork. The range will be aimed at 3-8 year olds and include picture, activity and novelty books.
