Obituary - Candida Lycett Green
Candida Lycett Green, a prolific writer, broadcaster and journalist who also edited two volumes of letters by her father, the late poet laureate of the U.K. John Betjamin, died August 19. She was 71.
The Guardian noted that she "often said that she had never been 'just me,' that the first half of her life was spent as 'John Betjeman's daughter' and the latter part, after her younger son achieved fame as a D.J., being 'John Lycett Green's mum.' "
