David Colquhoun is the Curator of Manuscripts at the Alexander Turnbull Library.
He is the author of As If Running on Air: The Journals of Jack Lovelock (Craig Potton Publishing).

9:05 J.J. Joseph and Celia Lashlie
J.J. Joseph is the author of Fighting for My Life: The Confession of a Violent Offender (Exisle), which tells the story of his violent upbringing and life, then counseling and anger management. The foreword to the book is written by Celia Lashlie, who was the first woman in New Zealand to work in a custodial role in a male prison, was manager of Christchurch Women's Prison, and wrote the books The Journey to Prison: Who Goes and Why (HarperCollins) and He'll Be Okay: Growing Gorgeous Boys into Good Men (HarperCollins).

Writer and performer John Clarke is one of New Zealand's greatest exports. His early work has been collated on The Fred Dagg All-Purpose DVD & Music CD: The Taihape Years (Astronought).
